A seminar-training was held in Tashkent on the topic “Widespread promotion of women’s rights through the media: overcoming obstacles and responsible coverage in the media.” It was attended by media representatives, bloggers and employees of information services operating in Tashkent city and region.
In particular, a number of legal documents, including presidential decrees and decisions on ensuring women’s rights, gender equality and protecting women from violence and oppression, strengthening the status of women’s entrepreneurship development, were adopted.
On this basis, relevant programs are developed and a number of tasks are consistently implemented in life. It is of urgent importance to improve the knowledge and skills of young journalists and bloggers in the regions in order to bring this process and media coverage of existing problems in the field to the quality stage.
During the seminar, the main attention of the participants was focused on the preparation of up-to-date and high-quality content on the same topic.
Journalists and bloggers who actively participated in the three-day training received appropriate certificates.
