Mission: The main mission is to meet the information needs of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan and to help improve the skills of journalists and bloggers in the country. In order to achieve its goals, the Center performs the following tasks: Organization of training seminars, roundtables, workshops, press tours, educational and creative laboratories, clubs, special training courses for employees of the national and local media, government, and non-governmental organizations, representatives of information services with the involvement of various specialists. The Center contributes to the development of democratic values in Uzbekistan by building the capacity of the media in Uzbekistan.

Sources of grants/funding: the sources of formation of the center’s funds are:
- one-time and regular contributions paid by the founders;
- Charitable and sponsorship assistance of individuals and legal entities;
- Income from entrepreneurial activities carried out to achieve the goals and objectives set out in the Charter and to be self-sufficient;
- Proceeds from seminars, trainings, lectures, exhibitions, PR-services and other events;
- state support in the form of subsidies, grants and social orders;
- other receipts not prohibited by law.
The main aim is to meet the information needs of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan and to help improve the skills of journalists and bloggers in the country. In order to achieve its goals, the Center performs the following tasks: Organization of training seminars, roundtables, workshops, press tours, educational and creative laboratories, clubs, special training courses for employees of the national and local media, government, and non-governmental organizations, representatives of information services with the involvement of various specialists. The Center contributes to the development of democratic values in Uzbekistan by building the capacity of the media in Uzbekistan.
This center is the newest NGO in the field of Media Education in Uzbekistan. Future activities/trainings will be focused mainly on Development of Media and Internet Environment in Uzbekistan, Media and Information literacy, Development of Business and Data Journalism, Better working conditions for journalists, Development of Citizen Journalism.
The main partners are the Agency of Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Oliy Majlis, the Legislative Chamber of the Parliament, Uzbekistan University of Journalism and Mass Communication, Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Fojo Media Institute (Sweden), UNESCO office in Uzbekistan, USAGM, American Center in Tashkent, US Embassy, and Office of the EU Delegation to Uzbekistan, UNDP office in Uzbekistan.
The joint projects with partner organizations are “Ensuring transparency of government agencies and organizations in the modern information space” with Agency of Information and Mass Communications, “Support better working conditions for journalists” with Fojo Institute, “Improving the role of parliament in ensuring the effective implementation of reforms and national SDGs” with UNDP, “Development of Citizen Journalism in Uzbekistan Online Course” with American Center and others.
