Samarkand, Uzbekistan – A specialized training seminar on “Issues of Effective Public Relations in the New Digital Environment: Opportunities and Challenges” was held at the Samarkand Regional Press House. The event brought together key stakeholders to discuss modern trends in public communication, legal frameworks, and the role of digital media in effective messaging.

The seminar addressed crucial topics, including the latest legislative reforms in the information sector, contemporary techniques for visualizing content, and strategies to enhance the credibility of public communications. Experts emphasized the need for press secretaries and media professionals to adapt to the rapidly evolving digital landscape to ensure transparency and accuracy in information dissemination.

Expert Insights on Digital Communication

Dr. Beruniy Alimov, Director of the non-governmental non-profit organization “New Media Training Center” and a Doctor of Philology, led the training session. He provided in-depth guidance on modern requirements for creating impactful photo content, combating misinformation, and using online fact-checking tools.

“In today’s world, where 82 percent of information is consumed visually through social media, mastering the art of creating effective photo content is no longer optional—it is essential,” Dr. Alimov emphasized. “Without these skills, achieving our communication goals becomes significantly more challenging.”

Participants also received recommendations from industry experts on topics such as legal regulations in the media sector, best practices for public relations in state and municipal authorities, and strategies for responding to social media trends and misinformation.
