On August 24, 2022 the National Forum was held on the topic “Cooperation between state authorities and non-governmental non-profit organizations in ensuring human rights and interests.”
The Forum was organized by the National Center for Human Rights together with the Ministry of Justice, the National Association of Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations of Uzbekistan, the National Movement “Yuksalish” and the “Development Strategy” Center, State Bodies and Non-Governmental Organizations in Ensuring Human Rights and Interests at the International Tashkent Hotel,
National NGO Forum was attended by representatives of a number of state organizations, ministries, departments and institutions of civil society, in particular, employees of the Public Fund for Support of Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations of Uzbekistan.
Gulmira Shukurova, the Deputy Director of the “New Media Education Center” NGO took part in the forum and made a presentation on the topic “The role of the media in protecting human rights, freedoms and legitimate interests.”
